You can view and search for profiles, jobs and entities without having an account. An entity can be a company, organization, government, or other legal entity (“Entity”) whose purpose or goal is to get promoted through our services. If you choose to apply for a job posted by an Entity or connect with our staff, then you need to create an account and provide us with some personal information so that we can provide you with our services.
A personal profile is public. The information on the profile is provided by the user and is used to provide our services to the user.
Every user that signs up gets a public profile. Profiles are searchable and can be viewed by anyone via a personalized URL.
If you choose to connect an Entity to any of our services then that Entity will also get a public profile. Entity profiles are viewable and searchable by anyone. All jobs posted by Entities to our services are also public and viewable and searchable by anyone.
Non-public information on the profile will be marked with details indicating who can view it.
Non-public information, such as uploaded CVs, can only be accessed by the entities to which the user has applied for a job.
Double staff can always access non-public information to maintain the Services.
Double only collects, processes and stores data that may be provided by the user to Double with consent to use the data. When using Double’s services, Double can collect personal data like images, name, age, gender, email address, postal address, phone number, ip-address, browser information, personal identity numbers, skills, experiences, and/or other information that the user provides to Double in order to use Double’s services.
In addition to information that the user shares with us, we look at what content the user has viewed and other patterns to determine what content the user is interested in to show the user more relevant content and information.
Data can also be collected as part of our sales and marketing efforts through online forms for contact purposes. This data could be used for prospecting, generating leads and receiving inquiries.
The purpose of collecting and processing personal data is to be able to provide Double’s services. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable laws and agreements.

The user has the right to obtain information of the personal data processed by Double concerning the user. The user can at any time recall consent from Double to process the personal data. The user understands that recalling consent to use personal data can limit Double’s possibilities to deliver the service fully and that functionality might become limited to the user. The user can also ask Double to delete, adjust or limit personal data used about the user at any time, this has to be done in writing.
Personal data that is no longer needed or used by Double for the purposes for which it was collected will be deleted or de-identified. This is for example done when a user cancels or stops using our services which in turn leads to a cancelled account. If an account is cancelled all user data is destroyed or de-identified. This cannot be undone. To start using our services again the user must create a new account and re-enter all data needed by the service.
Double has taken appropriate measures to protect personal data throughout the whole organization as well as technical services, platforms and systems to ensure that only personal data which is necessary for each specific purpose is processed.
Cookies are used by Double for technical reasons to provide users Double’s services and to make the website experience better. Cookies are small files that are stored on the users hard drive. Cookies control login sessions and other important functionalities on our websites. They contain no personal data. The user can prevent cookies from being used at any time by changing settings in the browser. The user understands that this can cause websites and services to stop working properly.
